Dragon Boat Festival
Dragon Boat festival was a busy time in the Barber Shop. We had many customers from all over Taiwan. This group of Friends (Photo) came to the cutting edge barbershop to experiance the english style of hair Cutting.
Everyone enjoyed themselfs having tea and coffee whilst there friend had his hair cut. We all took this photo together.

Customer From Finland
Cutting Edge Barbershop recieved a customer from Finland!
The customer heard about the barbershop from his Taiwanese girlfriend, so he decided when he came to Taiwan to visit her he would come down to Hualien and get a haircut by Daniel.
Its amazing to know that someone so far away can hear about the barbershop in Hualien City. Thats the power of the internet, also the power of Taiwanese, a people that are proud of there country and enjoy sharing the magic of this island with the rest of the World.
Douglas Visits the Barber!
A Visit From Scotish Douglas to the local Barber.
Douglas has been living in Hualien for the last 9 months studing the local aborigine language for his P.H.D degree.
Douglas has now returned to the British Islands to continue his studys. He will return to Hualien again and we will welcome him back to our Barbershop!

Summer Brings More International Customers
A visitor from Hong Kong came to Cutting Edge Barbershop on Thursday night. Cherasa a Barista from Hong Kong came to Cutting Edge Barbershop for a haircut and a glass of whiskey.
Its great to meet people from all over the World to learn about there lives and the country they live in. Also we can share passions for things in this World like Coffee . Thanks to Cherasa for sharing his coffee beans with us. Have a great trip in Taiwan and see you again next time you are in Hualien.
Filming With TVBS
Its been exciting times in the Barbershop these days. We have been filming with TVBS making a programe about the life in Hualien. We filmed all day in the Barbershop and luckly we had many different kinds of hairstyles in the that day so some interested footage was shot. The next day we closed the shop and headed to Mugumui for a day of river trekking.

Filming With TV Crew From Hong Kong
Its was a great way to end the summer. We had two gentlemen from Hong Kong visit our store. The TV hosts brought along there filming crew and included Cutting Edge Barbershop in there round island movie. Now Hualien has direct flights
to Hong Kong. So lets all welcome the people to our city.
